2022 NYC SCHOOL SURVEY Deadline Extended April 15, 2022

If any parent/guardian has not had the opportunity to submit the survey, you may submit it by April 15, 2022.  Parent/guardian of each student is eligible to complete the NYC School Survey, which is an anonymous survey that helps school leaders understand what they think about the learning environment at their schools. This survey is to help school leaders learn how to improve the schools and help make it a better learning environment for the students.  Families can go to NYC School Survey to access the NYC School survey.  Families will enter “f” followed by their child’s nine-digit Student Identification (OSIS) Number to access the survey (e.g. f123456789). Note that “f” must be lowercase.

Families can take the survey online via computer or mobile device at NYC School Survey in any of the nine DOE supported languages.  Or families can fill out and submit the paper survey.  We already distributed the paper survey to the students.

Respect for All Week February 14 to February 18

All public schools across the city have had the opportunity to highlight and build upon ongoing programs to help students, staff and communities gain a better understanding of diversity.  During this time, schools may start new initiatives that promote respect for diversity and preventing bullying, intimidation, and bias-based harassment.  Our school is also encouraged to promote acceptance and understanding through theme-based lessons and activities, such as Kindness and No One Eats Alone Days. These lessons and activities were created to combat social and emotional isolation that is especially prevalent now during the Covid-19 pandemic.  Friday, February 18, 2022 is a National No One Eats Alone Day.

Each February, Americans across the United States commemorate Black History Month, a month-long national celebration of the contributions and achievements that Black men and women have made throughout U. S. and world history.
