District 2 Day of Solidarity
On May 21, 2021, the P.S. 1M community, including Schools Chancellor Meisha Porter and District 2 Superintendent Kelly McGuire, gathered to celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month and to affirm to our staff and students that when confronted with hate and violence, we give you LOVE, PEACE, and HOPE!
May our buttons of LOVE, PEACE & HOPE be given and shared far and wide for all, especially to all our diverse and marginalized communities who need support and healing right now. We thank you for joining us for this special event. We stand in solidarity!
